How to install an eSIM?
Setting up your eSIM is quick and easy! You can choose QR Code or Manual way to install & activate eSIM. Follow these steps below:
✅ 1. Activate eSIM with QR Code (most common)
This is the standard method using a QR code provided by Muskbird.com.
🔹 Steps (iPhone & Android):
iPhone:
A) QR Code Touch and Hold
B) QR Code Scan and Install

Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Services > Add Cellular Plan/eSIM.

Scan the QR Code email by Muskbird.com.

Tap Add Cellular Plan/eSIM.

Optional:- Choose SIM label (e.g., Primary, Business).
- To Activate:- Once installed, go to Settings and make sure Data Roaming is turned ON for installed eSIM only.
Android (e.g., Pixel, Samsung Galaxy):

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs or Mobile Network.

Select Add carrier or Download a SIM instead.

Scan the QR Code.

Follow on-screen steps to activate.

To Activate:- Once installed, go to Settings and make sure Data Roaming is turned ON for installed eSIM only.
✅ 2. Manual Activation (enter SM-DP+ Address & Activation Code)
If you can’t scan a QR code, you can copy & paste SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code manually.
🔹 copy below details from email/myaccount :

SM-DP+ Address (Subscription Manager Data Preparation)

Activation Code (usually alphanumeric)
iPhone:

Go to Settings > Cellular/eSIM > Add Cellular Plan/eSIM.

Tap Enter/Paste Details Manually (at the bottom).

Enter SM-DP+ Address, Activation Code, and possibly a Confirmation Code(Optional).
Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Add carrier.

Choose Enter details manually.

Input SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code.

Confirm to activate.
⚠️ Note: Some carriers may require mobile data or Wi-Fi to complete eSIM download.
Important Tips

Avoid extra charges: Turn OFF Data Roaming on your primary SIM to prevent roaming fees.

Arriving soon? If you install the eSIM before you travel, set it as your primary data plan once you arrive.

Save data: Enable Low Data Mode (iPhone) or Data Saver (Android) to limit background usage.
